ORx Risk Profiler^© utilizes the results of the ORx Risk Analyzer^© of paid prescriptions and applies inference analytics to identify providers that may be over prescribing opioid and other high-risk medications.  This analysis indicates the current practice patterns and level of conformance to “best practice” (in relation to CDC Prescribing Guidelines) for chronic and high-risk narcotic prescribing of those providers and pharmacies.  The ORx Risk Profiler^© then assigns a Star ranking (1-4) based on both prescribing patterns and patient prescription refill patterns.  This ranking provides a work plan utilized by the staff of ORx Risk Management^©
